* Level 8 in Psychology
* Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
* Level 7 n Counselling and Psychotherapy
* Level 7 in Addiction Counselling
* Level 7 in Youth or Community or similar
* Level 7 in Social Science
* Level 7 in Family Support
* Professional Qualification in Teaching (not TEFL)
* Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
* Level 7 in ABA
* Level 7 in Disability Studies
* BA of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service)
* Level 6 in Social Care/Social Studies
EXPERIENCE: Social Care Worker: 2 years post qualification desirable
Full Driver’s License essential

young people using the Relationship Model of Care and aim to give the
young people in our care the best possible experience in the care
system.
SOCIAL CARE WORKER POSITION:
The role will involve working with young people providing a range of
high-quality services working alongside a multidisciplinary team to
meet the needs of the young people. Interpersonal and communication
skills with a strong ability to respond to challenging situations and
new environments are a desirable quality. Flexibility is essential.
The candidate is required to have a Social Care qualification and two
years post qualification experience is desirable.
The candidate will be required to work designated shifts as per the
roster and as needed, including overnights, weekends and holidays.
The candidate will be familiar with all relevant legislation and
policies pertaining to residential childcare.
The successful applicant will be subject to Garda Vetting and
reference checking.
